More stages.
Less chasing.

Your next production team could be looking for exactly what’s in your warehouse. Help them find you.

Create your vendor account

Great gear deserves
to get found.

BacklineScout connects the people planning the show with the people who can supply it. A vendor listing puts your company into that conversation.

More opportunities.

Be considered when production teams are sourcing local backline. Requests bring the show dates, venue, equipment requirements, and logistics together, so you can decide whether the job fits.

Relevant requests. Clearer decisions.

A wider spotlight.

Give buyers a place to discover your company, service area, and equipment specialties. Help teams outside your existing network understand where you’re the right fit.

Your company, in the search.

Less back-and-forth.

Keep the rider, quote revisions, substitutions, and buyer conversation with the request. Spend less time reconstructing the details across scattered messages.

One request. One shared context.

Quote your way.

Use the built-in quote form or upload a quote from your existing system with a comparison summary. Make coverage, delivery, crew, tax, and deposits clear without replacing the way you run your business.

Your workflow stays yours.

From discovery
to a clear quote.

  1. Set up your company

Create an account and a vendor company. Listings require operator verification before appearing in the shared directory.

  2. Choose the right requests

Review the production, dates, and requirements. Accept opportunities that fit; decline those that don’t.

  3. Quote, clarify, confirm

Send your offer, resolve questions in the thread, then agree the booking directly. A buyer’s selection is a preference, not a confirmed rental.

Before you join.

Does creating an account publish my listing?

No. It creates your account and company. A vendor must be verified before appearing in the shared directory. The current supplier directory and request workspace are a local preview.

Do I have to change my quoting software?

No. The quote workflow supports a native form or your existing quote document with a standardized summary for comparison.

Who handles payment and the rental agreement?

You and the buyer arrange the rental agreement, payment, delivery, and fulfillment directly. BacklineScout’s supplier selection does not confirm a booking.

Are leads or bookings guaranteed?

No. A listing is intended to improve discovery and make quoting more efficient. Opportunities depend on buyer demand, your equipment, service area, and availability.
